The Genius Behind the Antithesis

This story begins with Once Upon A Time, because the best stories do, of course.

So, once upon a time, about 24 days after the last minute of 1990, a male alien was born. He was named completely after his father, except for the suffix “Jr.” So it can be concluded that his parents are neither creative nor original. Anyways, he had a nice childhood. He had friends then. He graduated from Julugan Elementary School that, by the way, is an awful place to study at.

After his first few schooling years, the harshness of life began to sink into him. He chose to study at Tanza National Comprehensive High School, which is public, instead of the private one. He regrets that decision. Although his fascination with the English language began in elementary, he only realized that he wanted to write for the rest of his life after four years of minor journalism classes. This is why he took his chances and tried to enter the University of the Philippines with the hope of taking-up Creative Writing there. The bad news is he failed the UPCAT. [Curse you math!] He had a 98% in the reading comprehension part, in fact. But since his score in mathematics is around 65%, his dream of becoming a writer started to blur.

Graduating from high school felt more like orgasm than despair. He thought that at long last, he can relieve himself of all his inhibitions—he was wrong.

He is now 17 years old. He resides in Tanza, Cavite but he studies in Makati. He is taking-up Electronics and Communications Engineering at Asia Pacific College. He is the current Managing Editor of The Processor, which is a badly written piece of crap. [REDUNDANCY!] English is his element. He would love to be a magazine editor or columnist. He wishes to publish a book in the future, but does not care if people would buy or read it. And lastly, he is a very proud SM SCHOLAR.

He is not a Christian. He is not an atheist. He believes in a great unseen. He is a deist. Deism is not a sect; so technically, he does not have any religion. He loves alternative and Christian rock, which is ironic. He enjoys collecting dead moths and drying them up in between book pages. He also reads novels and sonnets. He is not a fan of free verse poems, though. He finds them cheesy, of course there are exceptions.
